My friend titled this piece "Marianne" a tribute to punk pioneer Marianne Joan Elliott-Said otherwise known as Poly Styrene. She was front woman for punk rock band X-Ray Spex.
She chose this because of the vibrant punk feel about the painting, much like the character Marianne was.
